This is a wonderful holiday let in a fabulous part of the country. Beautifully furnished and decorated. The best equipped kitchen we have encountered! The view from the lounge window is stunning and if it rains the wood stove more than makes up for it. The local Co-op store is 10 minutes away in Ballachulish and had everything we needed for a weeks stay. Owner Undine was friendly and helpful. A walk to the nearby waterfalls at Inchcree is a pleasant way to pass a morning or afternoon. Lots to do but a pleasant place to do nothing in too! We received a very warm welcome at the local church. Definitely recommend Beachcomber cottage. Just watch your head on the stairs if you are over 6 foot! Thanks Undine. We also enjoyed the Jacobite Steam Train, West Coast Tours tour of Mull, Iona & Staffa #💖Puffins, Stean Gorge at Ben Nevis, Ben Nevis Distillery, Cruachan Power Station.

The property was ideal for our needs. We used it as a base to go out walking and explore a part of the country we had never been to before. Everyone we met in the local shop was incredibly friendly and helpful.

                                    Truly stunning views

Our stay at the old schoolhouse was the highlight of a two week tour through the UK. The cottage not only provided a convenient starting point to explore the west, but was also a nice place to just sit and relax. The view from the front room was one of the most spectacular of our entire trip, made even more comfortable by the wood burning stove. Easy access to the beach which had a few tide pools (nothing too exciting) and apparent seagull rookery on the rock. This is not a place to come if you necessarily want to meet the locals, but great for a very quiet, private getaway in beautiful scenery. Would definitely do this again!
