We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Church Haye. We were two sisters with our two children all under 8yrs and our mother! The house was clean and tastefully furnished creating a relaxing environment for all to enjoy. All bedrooms were spacious light and the family bathroom also adhered to this theme! Downstairs there was more than enough space to either have to yourself or spend with each other. The two reception rooms, plus dining room (easily seats 7) and the kitchen meant that at no point did anyone feel on top of one an other. The kitchen appliances were all modern, new exceptionally clean and easy to use! Not that we needed to cook much as the pub adjacent to Church Haye served good honest food for both adults & children with a vast selection of local ales & spirits! The landlord was most accommodating, putting together a large table on two occasions when the pub was quite busy! Church Haye really did have everything we could have wished for on our half term break. The location really can’t be described as it’s truly stunning! Local ponies & cattle roaming the common land infront of the cottage and dramatic hills as a colourful backdrop for great walks. You could’nt ask for more and we will most certainly be going back for more! Shhh, just don’t tell everybody!
