Lovley self contained apartment with lovely surroundings

5 of 5
4 of us stayed at Garden House as we were attending a wedding at Thrumpton Hall (about 20 mins cab ride away). Booking was easy, Jo responded quickly and gave clear instructions. Jo and her partner were there to meet us on arrival and showed us around. Garden House is a lovely modern self contained apartment with fabulous décor, I will be on the look out for the giraffe lamps for myself! All beds were comfortable and there were nice little touches such as milk for the morning and some chocolate bars and sweets! Place was clean, setting was peaceful and the hosts were really nice too. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend.

5 Stars for everything - And most truly deserved

5 of 5
Booked this extremely last minute for a long weekend. Like all things that we do on the web, we always have a slight doubt if the choice made is the right one. Push any reservations you may have aside and trust in all the high rated, honest reviews on this property. The barn conversion has been carried out to a very high specification and the barn just oozes charm, character, originality, and quality. From the quality bedding, memory foam mattresses, thick Egyptian cotton fluffy towels and Denby tableware, one cannot feel, anything less than total satisfaction. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and every cupboard discovered had the necessities and more you could need for a home from home experience. Norwell village itself is charming and we found the walking proximity to the local village store and local pub extremely useful and convenient. Our dog loved the area and we could tell his senses were heighten around a new playground that he discovered. The strong wi-fi signal was useful as it allowed us time to check out the local areas and find some real gems to discover during our short stay. The ice cream parlour was a favorite with the kids and the dog, and the Plough Inn in Caunton served us some beautiful drinks and food in a lovely outside garden. The owners add to the overall package with their warmth, geniality, and understanding of what is needed. We have discovered by chance a truly fantastic hideaway in such a lovely part of England. Thank you, Victoria for having us and we look forward to spending time in the Barn again shortly. Regards Mr & Mrs. P. (Leicestershire). 5 ***** most definitely deserved.
