We've been to Lee before and love the village but this was our first visit to The Old Vicarage. We found the house charming and very comfortable. There is lots of room for a large party. We enjoyed badminton on the lawn, watching DVDs from the extensive library and playing games on the kitchen table. We also spent a few sociable hours at the Grampus. I would recommend this house to anyone in need of rest and recuperation in a peaceful location.

Our family holiday in Woolacombe (we were a party of 9) was excellent and my children very much enjoyed doing all the things they last did ~30yrs ago – surfing, fishing in the rock pools, walking along the beach to Putsborough, climbing round Morte and Baggy Points etc. and for the three grandchildren it was all new and exciting. The beach equipment in the garage was most useful, it saved us bringing our own. The house is superb in location, accommodation and facilities and everything is to such a high standard that it is difficult to highlight anything in particular. However after a time on the beach the warm outside shower and hot tub were much appreciated and the spacious entry lobby with its boiler/drying room was invaluable in helping get any wet clothes dry again. The view from the living room is fantastic and nearly every room in the house has spectacular views. Even when the weather didn't encourage sitting out on the verandah it was lovely to be able to enjoy the amazing views from the comfort of the spacious living areas. The grandchildren also loved the jukebox! We very much enjoyed staying there – thank you for the opportunity, the family are already asking for a return visit!
