It's a 'Tardis' cottage

5 of 5
A jewel of a property. Spotlessly clean with a host of facilities and the garden overlooking the river is a delight. One to keep to yourself!

Great accommodation on the edge of a lovely town.

5 of 5
We stayed for four nights in April and had a smashing break. The accommodation is immaculate, very well supplied and has the most comfortable bed imaginable. The ginger cake that greeted us was most welcome. Only a 10/15 minute walk to the centre of the town but far enough away to be totally peaceful (bring a torch for the short farm road up to the cottage if walking back in the dark). Kirkcudbright is an interesting arty town with nice places to eat - whether you want to go slightly posh or bring your own bottle of wine to the sit-in chipper (no corkage), there's something for everyone.
