Our return to Northumberland.

5 of 5
We came to Hawkwell House in early Spring. The hedgerows and gardens were full of blossom and even the weather was good. The cottage is a wonderful place to stay, warm and comfortable. It is beatifully equipped and furnished and we quickly felt felt very much at home. We were met with wine and biscuits and a warm welcome by Jill and John...and Alfie. Hawkwell Is an excellent situation for seeing much of the north East easily. We visited Bamburgh and the coast,Durham and Beamish,Rothbury and Keilder Water ,Woodhorn and the Pitman Painters We are very much looking forward to coming back.
