  • Excellent short stay

We had a great stay in a lovely place. The lodge is well appointed and beautifully neat. It is a quiet section of the Park. Wonderful fluffy towels were provided and also there was tea, coffee and even a (welcome) bottle of wine. It was a great place to take our granddaughter for a few days. It was a quite quiet week at the country park so the pools (both inside and out) were fine. Throughout Elizabeth has been helpful, organised and professional. I would thoroughly recommend this lodge.

  • Wonderful home from home chalet on a great family park

From start to finish this was a great family holiday due to the accommodation, holiday park complex / facilities and location. The chalet was in a good location on the site in a quiet area but close to all the main facilities. There was seating at the back and space for the children to play and kick a ball. We didn’t feel cramped at all. The wrap around balcony gave a feeling of extra outside space but with gates it felt very secure. Doors on both sides of the chalet (front and side) opened to give a lovely breeze and feeling of not being cooped up. The decor / furniture / appliances / utensils were spot on. A big American fridge freezer, big oven, dishwasher. All a must. The rooms were lovely, cupboards/wardrobes for hanging clothes /belongings and each room had its own bathroom. The children loved having their own. The shower in the bathroom attached to the main bathroom was huge - lovely hot water. Towels and linens supplied so no need to bring your own, only for the pool or beach. We did an online shop and it arrived an hour after we got there so we were sorted for the week. Well done Sainsbury’s! We did shop on site just to get bread and milk mid week. We cooked/ate out/had takeaways. I recommend the Thai Britannia in Milford on Sea. Anna left a lovely welcome basket so we could have a cup of tea and a snack on arrival. Some leaflets for local attractions were on the table as well as our leisure passes. Getting the keys and accessing the property was very easy thanks to Anna. The pool (inside and out are nice.) The indoor pool gets busy and it’s a timed session to manage the crowds and keep it pleasant. We went early and only once, only because we went in the outdoor pool and to the beach as weather was glorious. The playground for the children was fun and good for a 4 and 7 year old. This was our second holiday to the area and again we barely scratched the surface. We had great weather so visited the beach at Milford, Bournemouth and Mudeford. We used our body boards and built sandcastles-great fun. We went crabbing at Mudeford Quay more than once, flew our kite (perfect location) and visited Paultons Park (expensive but no more so than anywhere else). Kids loved that. I truly love this part of the UK and none of us really wanted to leave..so much still to discover and I know we will be back. I can highly recommend the location, holiday park and chalet for a great family holiday.
