  • If you want an idyllic cottage surrounded by landscape, tranquility and smiles, look no further

As soon as we stepped foot in the cottage, I wished I'd booked a longer stay. We arrived in Montgomery in the middle of the afternoon and felt we'd stepped back in time, try and imagine the 19th Century with cars and WiFi. If you're looking for a quiet, relaxing holiday with great scenery, fantastic walks and cheery townsfolk, then get your credit card out and book this cottage and experience it all for yourself. There is literally nothing I can think of that would make this any better. The cottage was absolutely ideal, good size rooms through out, clean and tidy with all the feeling of the past within. I got the feeling that David, the owner, wasn't letting this property for the financial gain but to give the holiday maker an experience of what the definition of a relaxing break really means. Walks are on your doorstep, the hub of the town square is just down the hill, the views are as far as the eye can see, we could even see Snowdon and that was 53 miles away. I would have no hesitation in re-booking this property. David, be proud, you made us feel so welcome, introduced us to a village that has a heart, a caring for its locals and and open arms for its visitors. I'm sure we will see you again soon. Thank you for everything.

The kind and warm owners had thought of everything you might need and there were lots of lovely touches to the cottage.
