Lovely relaxed weekend!

5 of 5
Perfect property, very well appointed and maintained, a credit to the owner. Lovely welcome gifts of tea, coffee, milk, sugar and other essentials. We have no negative points at all and will be booking again soon. Cannot recommend this property and location enough. Away from main town by just enough, a very short walk to all the facilities required.

Comfortable cottage ideally located

4 of 5
The cottage was easy to locate and amazingly well placed for walking into Melrose, to the station at Tweedbank, and onto the Eildon Hills - the car was left in the drive for the duration of our stay. The house itself was very clean, light and airy and comfortably furnished, with a well-equipped kitchen. Central heating was easy to operate, the big garden would be a bonus to anyone with kids, the bed was comfortable and the owner had left a helpful range of maps and guidebooks. We hope to visit again!
