Beautiful quiet cottage that was immaculate inside and out and the scenery is absolutely stunning will definitely be visiting again without the bambinos lol can't fault the place or hosts had a lovely wee pack when we arrived until we got a shopping in.

First impressions were excellent. A very well equipped property, clean and charming. Although dogs allowed, there was no evidence of ‘dogginess’ other than the bowl! Always a slight concern when booking as a non dog owner. From the time of booking the owners input was excellent with good recommendations of places to visit and local walks. It was good that you could walk to Lakeside and access the boats and train without needing a car. However, Lakeside hotel is quite expensive and there are far better pubs and eateries further afield. The walk to High Dam was well worth it for the scenery and views. The only slight disappointment was that the outside space at the cottage does not receive the late afternoon and early evening sunshine, as this space is the thoroughfare for the end cottage. However, this would not stop us from booking again.
