Make a holiday home in Malborough your home away from home

The picturesque village of Malborough in Devon looks as if it was always meant to be the perfect seaside romantic getaway destination. Clinging to the gentle hills of the South Hams, Malborough has all the conveniences of a modern town, but offers the scenery and atmosphere of a far-flung resort. Within reach by foot from the village is the spectacular South West Coast Path, and six separate sandy beaches. Despite its size, Malborough acts as a community hub for the surrounding villages: its amenities include two pubs, a petrol station, post office, and hotel/restaurant.

Many boast stunning sea views along with other amenities such as internet access, air conditioning, and washer/dryer facilities. Most of the beaches near Malborough are sandy and are just as ideal for sunbathing as they are for swimming.

The beach here is a haven for watersports activities such as diving, sea kayaking, and windsurfing. The water is also calm enough for swimming, and there is a lifeguard on duty throughout the summer months. Dogs are also more than welcome to join their owners on the beach.

-Family attractions: If the beaches aren't enough to keep kids fully occupied, families staying in Malborough holiday accommodation can make the short drive to Dartmouth. Once there, tourists can visit attractions such as Dartmouth Castle, Dartmouth Zoological Park, and the Woodlands Leisure Park, which is more than enough to keep kids occupied for hours.

A wonderful home for the family to stay in a beautiful location

5 of 5
The house had a very warm feeling and is well equipped with everything you need. We had a wonderful stay at The Coach House and were in a perfect spot to enjoy the area. Bantham beach was great for the kids, we bought a week car park pass which was great as we could pop down at any point in the day without thinking about the £6 daily charge. The road down to the beach is good fun but you do get used to it! We had a fantastic holiday and hope to go back again. Thank you.

Marvellous holiday!

5 of 5
The four of us had an extremely enjoyable holiday at this nice cottage - helped of course by the heat wave. We enjoyed trips to many of the nearby beaches and there were good pubs and restaurants not too far away. This cottage is on a creek and our children enjoyed feeding the swans and crabbing there. I,myself, enjoyed rowing the boat down the estuary to explore the area further. The cottage itself was cosy with comfortable beds and with plenty of room for the children to play. There was also a huge garden at the back of the cottage, with good views, where the children could play and we could relax. We shall definitely have another holiday there in the near future.
