Great location,comfortable house.

Leave your car parked outside the house and walk along the river with your dog, just 20 minutes to the town centre non of the town parking problems and most of the restaurants accept dogs. Sidmouth is an unspoilt old town a good location with plenty to see and do nearby.

Perfect base for a fantastic weekend in Topsham.

5 of 5
Cute cottage in a courtyard setting, with a private sunny rear patio. Extremely well equipped, clean and comfortable cottage, centrally located just off the High street and steps away from the estuary . Really did feel like home from home, with quality furnishings and not short of anything...pleasant surprise to see shampoo, soaps , cleaning products, etc included. A lot of thought has been put into making this holiday rental, a perfect place to spend time in. Topsham itself has many independent retailers, including a butchers, bakers, a few bars, restaurants and hotels and numerous interesting shops and galleries. We enjoyed using the train, a few minutes walk from the cottage, to visit Exeter one way and neighbouring villages the other way. We were a family of four adults , including our two adult children. Having the option of the camp bed in the downstairs bedroom proved to be very useful , enabling us to make full use of the 3 bedrooms giving us more space and privacy . Would definitely recommend this cottage and look forward to returning again in the near future.
