lovely spacious period house

5 of 5
This old house is full of lovely, quirky features but the rooms are a good size and the new heating system keeps it warm. There are plenty of reception rooms and bathrooms. It is ideally placed to explore Ludlow and its shops (close enough to return to drop off those purchases and start again). Should the weather be bad there are plenty of books and games to keep you entertained. It is on a main thoroughfare through the town but we did not find noise a problem (we stayed over a festival weekend and also experienced the weekend rush hour). The kitchen is a little snug but is well equiped and more than adequate for making breakfast and snacks.
