- Lovely escape
Beautiful location with stunning views. Quite remote even for a country house, which we loved. The house has everything you'll need and the children enjoyed the fire pit a great deal. We relished the lack of wifi, and found the teenagers engaged with the activities far more as a result. Parking for the 2nd car was a bit difficult, as the garage door was really tight for both our cars. The garage itself is quite big, so i'd definitely recommend widening that, if at all possible. We loved our stay.

We stayed at the Hen Stabl for a week holiday with our Labrador. The position of the cottage is excellent for getting to the beach, the hills and beyond. Upon arrival, late at night, we were pleased to discover a good looking wooden box contains tea, coffee, and biscuits to perk up. Our pet made herself home straight away. All in all, we explored the area, walked up to the Snowdon, more walks, and relaxed. Thanks to Gary, his stylish cottage and the spacious garden.
