A real gem

5 of 5
This is a wonderful little cottage, extremely well decorated and equipped, in a beautiful rural setting. Despite living next door, Roger and Christine gave us total privacy – we hardly saw them! – but they were available to answer any queries we had. The best thing was probably the hot tub – it was just wonderful to have a soak before going to bed! The only things that were missing were a drainer for the sink and somewhere to hang wet clothes when the weather wasn't good enough to hang them outside, but these are really minor things – everything else was perfect – a great base for a Cornish holiday!

Home from home comforts and more with a warm welcome from the owners.

The property was excellent with all the modern conveniences you could wish for. The only thing I would of liked would of been a King size bed as although the double bed was comfortable a King size should be standard these days where there is room. The owners Katrina & Arthur where lovely people and the location was perfect with a brilliant beach and all local attractions nearby. We like our walking and the south coast walk didn't disappoint. The Ship public house house within the village had a lovely friendly atmosphere and served excellent pub grub. There is also an excellent cycle hire facility in the village with some great cycle routes to explore as we discovered. Would of liked to of returned same time next year but unfortunately was already booked on those dates so obviously a popular place to stay. Enjoyed our stay and holiday very much and will return sometime in the future.
