Great property, nice grounds

5 of 5
Everything we wanted was there. Far enough from the city to be peaceful but near enough that Dundee was accessible. It was clean, tidy and well appointed. At just over 6’, I had to be careful not to bang my head on the various overhangs and eaves - but soon got used to ducking :) The ‘welcome pack’ - bottle of wine and some shortbread - was a lovely touch. Would definitely stay again if we’re ever up that way and in need of accommodation.

Wonderful location, no traffic noise, just bird song.

5 of 5
Well worth the long drive from the midlands. The cottage was well equipped and was totally quiet and peaceful except for the (very) occasional tractor which our ten month old grandson enjoyed. We saw hares while we sat in the garden eating breakfast, and the cuckoo sang constantly - the absence of traffic noise, and sounds of birds (swallows, owl, peewits, coaltits and many others), are what we are missing most now that we are home. It was a perfect base for going out walking. We recommend Glen Clova /Glen Doll/Corrie Fee; also going up Morrone from Braemar, and a walk from Glen Isla up Monega and Little Glas Moel. Perfect for three generations on holiday together: or any other group who like to be in breathtaking countryside for that matter!
