This was the perfect place to spend a few days away from city life. The cottage was spotlessly clean and very well appointed with top quality appliances, quality bedding, comfortable furnishings and reliable wifi. It has stunning views out the back (from the kitchen, living room and master bedroom) over the Bay which looked like the Mediterranean in the evening! The owners were extremely helpful. There's a lovely coastal path, harbour and pretty village to explore too. I can't recommend it highly enough!

The apartment was great! Very spacious and had everything we needed. Very quiet at night and in a perfect location very close to the beach! The owner was great throughout the whole booking process and gave us all the information we needed. We would defiantly return to the apartment and discover more of Scotland's beautiful beaches!

Although I was brought up within a few miles of Bowhouse I had no idea that this lovely property existed. It was just as described in the brochure and was well equipped with everything you could possibly require. Unfortunately our stay was a a relatively short one over the Easter weekend and we didn't have time to make full use of the facilities on the doorstep but we would not hesitate to return for a longer visit next time. We particularly enjoyed the beautiful garden and walks and it was lovely to wake up to the sight of fields and horses and the tranquility of it all. Our friends and relatives who still live in the area were able to enjoy visiting us there and we were blessed with lovely sunshine which made the place even more special. Thank you Malcolm for the time you took to speak with me before our visit and explain how everything worked. These personal touches are rare these days but go a long way to making you feel very welcome. Helena D
