Lovely thatched cottage with wood burner and well kitted out kitchen. Very comfortable bed and lounge sofas! Lots of low ceilings, as expected!. Bathroom adequate, but would benefit from a little upgrading. The car parking on the square could be an issue on returning in evening, as doesn't appear to be a designated space for cottage and local residents may have guests visiting etc. Wonderful welcome from Rob Smallbone, and bonus of being able to do take away dinner from the pub. Unfortunately, pub closed 2 nights of our stay ....

We have just had a long weekend away at the cottage. The cottage is lovely , beautifully decorated and in wonderful position overlooking the Quay. Appledore is a lovely town with bars restaurants and deli , with a coffee shop. Lots of walks to do without using your car if you don't want to. It was a family break with 2 dogs and we where made to feel very welcome. We all agreed we would stay again !
