Wonderful cottage where you could relax, good location to access so much

5 of 5
The cottage is beautifully decorated, clean and we'll equipped. The vintage bath was wonderful to soak in after long walks. The hosts left cakes and Ham on our arrival, truelly wonderful place to stay that we would highly recommend.

Excellent property, very spacoius with beautiful surroundings and wildlife all around.

Very good experience. Loved the very spacious property especially the kitchen/dining area. Our party of thirteen did not feel in any way cramped and the large number of bathrooms was a great plus point. A tumble dryer would be a useful addition to the utility room as it is not always possible or practical to hang out clothes. The house is tastefully decorated but the light coloured carpets in all the rooms bar the kitchen and the hall meant that footwear had the be removed at all times and a recommendation to pack slippers would have been useful. Really enjoyed the lake and the wildlife, not forgetting the chickens. It is worth pointing out to potential customers that it is remote and you cannot stroll to the local shop or pub. Best advice is stock up well on day one and relax and enjoy the countryside and the peace and quiet.
