  • Lovely cottage in a lovely location

The cottage was well laid out with a beautiful large garden and ample parking with the added benefit of being a stones throw away from the beach. Owner left tea, coffee, milk and biscuits which was a nice touch along with lots of leaflets on places to go and eat locally and surrounding areas.

  • Good, quiet location

A compact and conveniently located cottage, close to the town centre and recreation ground. Handy little enclosed garden, which was a great asset for both us and our dog. As you would expect from a Victorian cottage, it was not built with the car owner in mind, so be prepared to park a couple of streets away if you are returning later in the evening. Very pleasant stay and even during the Hop Festival, it was quiet. Slight problem with water ingress during unusually heavy rainfall, but it did not impact us much. New sofa / armchair would be a great asset and both became a little uncomfortable after a while. Very good communications from the owner.
