  • Comfortable secluded cottage within the town of Buckfastleigh
    4 of 5

Overall, as the title suggests, we had a good comfortable stay in this cottage. If I were to be constructively critical some of the pans in the kitchen could be replaced as could be the pedal bin which was broken. We were welcomed warmly and had a welcoming hamper left for us. It was well laid out and the jacuzzi/bath was a delight after a day out walking in the countryside. All in all good value for money.

  • Beautiful large longhouse for large group celebration
    4 of 5

The longhouse was perfect for a big group of friends to celebrate a birthday out in the counrtyside. The house was lovely and cosy on a cold October weekend and had enough room for everyone to play games, watch films and eat together. There are lots of maps and information about the surrounding area available. The kitchen was well equipped for a large self catering group. Judy runs a tight ship and explained how everything worked, there are lots of labels so you can be sure that you are putting everything back in its place. We also hired the barn for a party and table tennis. It was a great space for drinks and dancing slightly further away from the main house so others aren't disturbed. The sleeping arrangements are quite flexible. Although there was a bit of confusion between the layout we had asked for and what we got, it was easily sorted.
