Wonderful 2 weeks

5 of 5
We found the cottages very comfortable, clean and containing everything that is needed for a self-catering holiday. The welcome we received was very warm and we were made very much at ease for the whole 2 weeks. The cottages are situated in a beautiful part of the country and arte very close to many attractions as well as restaurants and pubs. We would highly recommend these cottages as a base to explore the area.

Lovely homely cottage

5 of 5
This is a lovely, quaint, detached cottage with good views over the forest. We were met by the owner, Jane, who was extremely welcoming and helpful without being at all intrusive. The cottage was very clean and well equipped. The bathroom is downstairs as described but was certainly not a problem for us. The surrounding area is very picturesque with lots to see and do. There are walks from the doorstep, we managed the one and a quarter mile to the pub at Parkend! There is a local pub nearer which I think must be open in the evening. We had a really relaxing break watching the chickens and sheep pottering around the land opposite but three days wasn't long enough so we will hopefully be returning. We would definately recommend the cottage and the area.
