The owners Mark and Helen were very understanding when we had to cancel our booking at short notice last year so it was lovely to meet them when we arrived. Avonview is very comfortable and well equiped and a perfect base for exploring the Cotswolds and several surrounding counties. Even when the weather is not great the views of the river and the park can be enjoyed from the sitting room and there is always something interesting to watch from the anglers, rowers, narrowboats and birdlifeonthe river to the dog walkers and joggers in the park. We enjoyed our stay hugely and would recommend Avonview to anyone and hope to be back ourselves in the future.
