  • Wow - simply wonderful, cosy, warm and relaxing

We stayed for a week of dog walks, exploring, pub visits (and a bit of work!) and were thrilled to find such a lovely cottage. We couldn't recommend enough. Rambler's Rest is very well equipped with high quality furnishings, all mod cons, a lovely fire and a very comfortable bed, we really couldn't ask for more. Fudge the working cocker was in her element with the local walks across the fields where pheasants and partridges were her main focus and along the Broads where the ducks and moorhens had to run for cover as Fudge leapt in after them. The local pub was very dog friendly and served good food. The White Horse in Upton is well worth a visit as is the The Gunton Arms - both also dog friendly. The beaches at Winterton and Horsey are a must, especially the latter where the seals are regularly on the beach or playing in the sea. Thank you Pip, we really enjoyed our stay.

  • Cosy cottage in a brilliant location

We have been coming to Beachside Cottage for the past three years. It's cosy, well equipped and in a perfect location. Good secured garden and The back gate opens onto the sand dunes. The bathroom and kitchen has been refurbished over the past couple of years to a good standard. Winterton is a lovely seaside village, everywhere is dog friendly and the people are very welcoming. It would be nice to have wooden flooring on the lower floor instead of carpets, but that's only because we have dogs, so perhaps I'm being selfish. We have already booked to return 3 times next year, so that confirms how much we like Beachside.
