  • A beautifully presented property, with lots of lovely extra touches.

We rented this cottage for a weekend getaway with friends and it definitely gave us a home from home experience. You walk in to a tastefully decorated lounge in which everything seemed brand new . You then went through to the dining area with a modern , well equipped and immaculately clean kitchen . The downstairs shower room was also pristine. You then walked up the staircase , that was , in fitting with the cottage, quirky and low but with signs to remind you to watch your head 😊. The two bed rooms , again were beautifully decorated . And although we then tossed a coin to see who got the double bed , the winners of the twin room were more than happy as they had the larger room . Although the double does have the open views across the fields . The roll top bath in the upstairs bathroom made it feel really luxurious. Overall we felt very relaxed and spoilt by the cottage. When looking to go away, and wanting to feel like you have upgraded your usual standard of living , this cottage definitely ticked all the boxes. As for its location , we found a pleasant pub to walk to (10-15 mins. ) The Swan Inn . We even took the bus to Hornsea, then Bridlington; but make sure if you are going to travel on , get a day rover! We didn’t, and on reflection , realised we’d had a very expensive day out ! But at least returning to the cottage , we could sit and relax and enjoy the wine we’d left chilling. Melanie ( the owner ) had also provided a lot of information as to where you could go / walk/ visit . And if you wanted a day at the beach or to go swimming , these towels were provided too . I don’t usually write at length in reviews but we definitely felt that this cottage had been tastefully presented and renovated and we really would recommend it !

  • Spacious bungalow with good location

The bungalow is very spacious and is in a great location to the town centre with all its shops, restaurants, cafes and nightlife. The bungalow has everything you require for your stay. Very clean with comfortable beds and the bed settee although difficult to put up was very comfortable and bedding was provided. The off road parking is a bonus as is the back garden. We sat out every day enjoying our brew. I would high,y recommend this bungalow if you are wanting to stay in Beverley or the the surrounding area. We hope to be back soon and the price was reasonable for what you get once you arrive. The tea, coffee, sugar and milk along with the fresh flowers are a very nice touch. Thanks Julia 💕💕
