Lovely property which met all our needs.

4 of 5
The property was well situated with lovely views across to Wirksworth. It was a good base to explore popular parts of Derbyshire. Just need to mention a couple of things which the owner may not be aware of. We arrived in pouring rain and there was a possible problem with gutter just above the main entrance as water was gushing down. The only other thing was that the baking trays were past their best - we were cooking meals every night and needed to use them. It didn't become a problem. Overall we had a wonderful week and would certainly return again..

lovely short break

5 of 5
My wife and I plus dog were looking for few nights 'away from it all' and this cottage was ideal. We found it well equipped, comfortable, clean and blissfully quiet. Biggin is a peaceful place and very well located in the Derbyshire Dales with Ashbourne, Matlock, Bakewell and surrounding areas all easily accessed by car in addition to the local walking possibilities on the Tissington trail. We hope to be back.
