This area is used by small aircraft and a few buildings exist from its military heyday during the 1940’s. This amazing piece of community history has beautiful vaulted ceilings and stained glass. Ancient Rough Tor is at the top of a steep hill, requiring a hike to the top and is the remains of what is believed to be a settlement dating back to the Bronze Age. Lovely peaceful secluded property

Callie's Cott is a cosy little annex at a farmhouse. It is quite small but has everything you need for a peaceful relaxing break away from it all, perfect for exploring Bodmin Moor and the Cornish coast. It has all kitchen facilities including a washing machine, comfy lounge with sofas, a cosy little bedroom and a fully equipped shower room. The host family are very friendly and helpful and left us a welcome pack with a few essentials both for kitchen and bathroom. Also a few grocery essentials including their own free range eggs which are the best eggs I have ever tasted.
