  • Beautifully decorated, convenient location

Lovely property, convenient location but if walking must be fit. Great, very informative hosts, nothing too much trouble. Comfy beds, high spec finish. Be mindful no separate sitting room or kitchen but fine for a few days stay. Highly recommend Railway cafe at Babbacombe for breakfast and a visit to the stunning Coleton Fishacre, National Trust property.

  • Decent digs for a couple

We stayed at the annexe for 3 nights and had a great time. The annexe is completely separate to the rest of the house so you get good privacy/independence. the kitchen is well-equipped and the fittings and finishing and cleaning etc were good. We found parking quite easily even when we arrived late at night. As the key access is through a keylock, arriving late was straightforward. One thing I hadn't quite realised was that the annexe living room is also the bedroom with the sofa bed folding in and out. This means that the place is only suitable for a single couple - as the description points out anyway. A minor point - the bed can be quite creaky at the lightest of movements. The bathroom can also get a bit wet post-shower as its quite a small place - but not fundamentally a big issue. We went with our 8-month-old baby which was perfectly fine. The location is quite near some key tourist destinations and the beach and generally everything we wanted to see was at walking distance.
