Lovely cottage!!

5 of 5
We really didn't know what to expect! Having seen the photos online we thought it looked good but in real life the cottage is lovely. It was our base for five nights while we toured around south Cornwall and was so comfortable to come back too after a day exploring - it felt like home!! It has all the amenities you could think of although we used very few of them but a comfortable bed, good shower and a delightful conservatory to chill in before going out for a meal made the stay very enjoyable. Thoroughly recommend this cottage for a very quiet relaxing homely feel!!

Cosy comfortable cottage in Penzance

4 of 5
The cottage is cosy and comfortable and ideally located in the centre of Penzance. Restaurants, pubs and shops are all within a couple of minutes walk, but as the cottage is tucked away and located off a courtyard, it's very quiet (apart from some rather loud seagulls!) The only downside is that to access the parking space, you have to go down a very narrow alleyway, and as people park on the double yellow lines opposite, it's sometimes impossible to turn into the alleyway and very difficult to get out again. However, we did manage to find a space on the roadside leading up to the cottage, so parked there instead. Once inside, the cottage is warm and welcoming. The open plan ground floor is light and spacious and it was great to be able to sit outside in the courtyard in the September sunshine. The double room in the eaves is lovely, with a comfortable bed and nice ensuite bathroom. We cooked in the cottage for a couple of nights, and the kitchen is generally well equipped, although we'd have liked a potato masher! We loved the artwork and decorative bits and pieces and would be very happy to stay again.
