We had a lovely stay at Cornerstone and would definitely like to return again one day, our two night stay was too short to really enjoy all the area has to offer. We enjoyed swimming in the outdoor spa pool, walking along the Thames path and had a good feed at the restaurant. Cornerstone is a very comfortable place to hang out with the family.

The ideal home for a Cotswolds holiday

Crane Hill Farm is the perfect location for a visit to the Costwolds, easily accessible between Cheltenham and Tewksbury, set in scenic Cotswold countryside with distant rural views in all directions. We came to spend some time with our family over a weekend and enjoyed every moment here. Rachel had provided us with a delicious cake, fresh bread, bottle of wine and milk to get us started which was so welcome after a long journey from Devon. The open-plan kitchen, dining area and lounge ensured everyone could enjoy the space together while the snug was available for those quiet times with a book. We self-catered and the kitchen had all the cookware we needed with a large range cooker, spacious fridge/freezer and ample storage for our groceries. The barbecue and outside furniture weren't used though would have been with warmer weather. A good quality cot and high chair were available for our baby grandson, while the boot room provided extra space for bags, buggy and coats. All four bedrooms were light and airy with comfortable beds, digital radios and bedside lights. We spent the weekend walking, kayaking part of the river Avon and visiting Tewksbury which was hosting a weekend medieval festival with colourful parades, music and re-enactments. We enjoyed exploring the local footpaths around the farm and seeing the herd of small dexter cattle, the horses and sheep. Rachel was a really welcoming host, providing all we could need for a wonderful weekend away in spacious comfort. We hope to return soon for another stay in this lovely Cotswold home.

The property is very well maintained. It is well equipped with washing machine, dishwasher etc but as well as this the owner also provides little extra touches like dishwasher tablets and washing machine tablets, towels etc. These extra touches make all the difference and help to make the cottage very comfortable. It is also situated very near to the village which provides all the necessary amenities like shops, café, pubs and a market once a week in the village centre. The cottage also benefits from a lovely mature garden which is quite a suntrap, The owner also provides garden furniture and a barbecue.
