          Perfect holiday home

          5 of 5
We have just spent New Year's Eve at Hawson Court and had the most perfect time! We were 4 families all with small children and the house was really suited to the size of our group. We were very impressed with the house (it looks even better in real life) and with Heather's (the owner) kindness. The booking process was very smooth and Heather made sure at all time that we had everything we needed. The surroundings of the house are beautiful and we went for lovely walks in the woods. We loved the house so much that we're already thinking of when we could go back next!

          Idyllic house with wonderful walking

          5 of 5
This beautiful house in an idyllic setting beside a stream was perfect for a very happy family Christmas. As several connected cottages it has lots of interesting nooks and crannies and staircases, with a comfortable living room with open fire and grand piano at its centre, as well as a perfectly equipped kitchen, just right for cooking Christmas meals for 11 without stress. Everything was in very good order including the excellent bathrooms. Good food shopping nearby in Ashburton and the excellent Riverford Farm Shop. Our two families enjoyed several different walks up through deep hollow ways to the moor and in the valley in which the cottage sits. It must be glorious in the summer too. Many thanks to Alan and Caroline for a wonderful week.

          'Pandora's box'

          5 of 5
Open the front door to the apartment and it is one great surprise! I stayed here in early November 2016, and used it as a base for a long walking weekend. Let me assure you this is no bunk house or low end accommodation, the property oozes quality and comfort; if you stay here you will want for nothing. The only thing you will not 'want' is to return home. I have stayed in numerous accommodation up and down the country and this is 'top notch' - don't think any more about it, just book it! You will not be disappointed. The owner Serena is a very nice person, although living in close proximity she is not an 'interfering owner' but is on hand should you need anything. The only time I saw her was when I popped by to say good bye.
