Beautiful bijou cottage in ideal location

5 of 5
We have just returned from a 3 night stay at this cottage and it matched our requirements and expectations completely. Ideally located just outside the walls of Conwy, an easy 4min walk takes you to all the town has to offer - the castle, shops, cafes, bars and great restaurants. The cottage is immaculate and extremely comfortable and I didn't want to come out from under the shower after long days out walking. The kitchen is stocked with everything you should need for meal preparation, cooking with a slimline dishwasher thrown in for good measure but all I can tell you from our stay us that the toaster and kettle worked! We love eating out and had done our homework and pre-booked restaurants within walking distance - can highly recommend The Raj (Indian), Alfredo's (Italian) and Watson's Bistro (fine dining). We managed to secure a parking spot on the road (road is quite narrow and tight) and didn't use it again until coming home. We love walking and would have done more but for the fact the weather didn't exactly go in our favour all weekend. As well as wandering around the sights of Conwy, we had an extremely blustery walk to Llandudno (took about 1 1/2 hours) one day. Heavy rain stopped us walking far on Saturday but instead we jumped on the No 5 bus to Bangor (this bus goes right through to Llandudno too in the other direction) and had a look around there. £5.50 secures you a day ticket on Arriva buses and forward planning can take you to most places around the area. Each night it was a pleasure to come back to the lovely cottage and the mist amazingly comfortable bed. Would we stay there again and recommend this place to friends and family........yes, without any hesitation! Thank you Mark and Linda for letting us stay in your beautiful holiday home. Brilliant house with lovely views over the Menai strait

5 of 5
This the second visit for us and yet again we had a lovely break. Easy access to Bangor and the uni. All you need is in the house for a perfect break.Walked along the pathway under Menai bridge to the old church along the strait. Beautiful scenery. Had a scrumptious meal at Dylans literally a few steps away from the house and enjoyed watching the boats pass by. Looking forward to another visit again soon.
