A loverly well appointed cottage in spacious grounds.

5 of 5
Very well equipped kitchen. Lovely welcome package (fresh eggs from the on site hens, biscuits). Very friendly owners on site so were able to give a personal touch. Excellent setting with large field area and gardens, giving lots of wildlife. We were lucky with the weather apart from one afternoon, which always helps. Easy to find and close to a main road providing access to Chester, North Wales, The Wirral and Liverpool. Overall an excellent week.

Delightful.

All our holiday breaks are taken in cottages and Dane Cottage was up there with the best. It was so well equipped with everything you are ever likely to need and we have never experienced having all the useful extras that were in the kitchen cupboard. Hilary has thought of everything. We had some cool nights when we were there so the wood burner made it really cosy. We were very entertained by the sheep in the field below and all the birds eating right outside the kitchen window. Sunday lunch at the Ship Inn was perfect on a rainy Sunday. We would not hesitate to recommend this lovely cottage.
