Luxurious, welcoming and relaxing. The Lodge was secure and fantastiacally appointed,-- and yet our dogs were allowed to stay-- Almost unheard of in our fifteen year stays in holiday accomidation. Spotless, well equipped, and utterly fabulous. Attentive and friendly house-keeping, with the added personal touch . I cannot recommend Wakes Lodges and their staff highly enough

We spent 10 days at Oakleys - early to mid August. The cottage is full of character, watch your head on the low beamed ceilings if you are tall! The facilities are A* for a holiday rental. We enjoy cooking and the kitchen is equipped to a very high standard with good quality pots/pans/crockery etc. There was no more we could have wanted. Bed linen is of lovely quality and everywhere extremely clean. The location is great for local villages eg Clare, Long Melford, Lavenham only a few miles away. The seated area in the garden has the sun all day and we often had our breakfast outside. The bathroom is a good size with a great shower. There is ample storage space so once you unpack your bags, store them away and it's like it's your own home! Overall we loved our time here and would highly recommend it.
