On arriving at the apartment i had a very nice welcome greeting from Sharon, the apartment was very clean and the welcome pack of fruit and wine was most welcome. it is situated only a 10 min walk from bus stops to main destinations, It is very central to a lot of local attractions whether you travel by car or bus and the steam train is a must if you want to visit Dartmouth. I would certainly recommend staying here, the only down side is the property could do with a little touching up in places and the garden needs trimming back to let more sun in when sitting outside, other than that i was very happy to stay here.

There was a private parking space on the harbour, which was included in the rental. We were able to park outside to unload. Indoors the house was immaculate. It has been recently renovated and everything was new and worked seamlessly. The kitchen was very well equipped, the bathroom was huge and to die for, and the living room was extremely comfortable as were the beds. The house is located just five minutes walk from the harbour and is splendidly quiet. We loved Brixham as a place to visit - did coastal walks of 6, 10 and 15 miles (Berry Head circular, Torquay with buses back every 20 minutes, and Kingswear buses return every half hour), day out fishing on the Optimist, and visits to three National Trust properties. Eating out was delightful, particularly at restaurants specialising in fish dishes, though we did cook fresh fish from the fish market on three occasions. Impressive collection of DVDs. What a holiday! Thanks
