- Lovely stay in a huge but homely house with amazing garden
We stayed in the house for a family gathering. It was plenty big enough for our group of 5 adults, 2 children and 3 dogs. We booked the house and cottage, which is attached to the house with a lockable door. The house was large but very homely, you feel like you are staying in a friend's holiday house. The views from every window are amazing, the garden is very large and well maintained. Braemar itself is lovely, with shops and cafes all in walking distance, just down the hill. There are wonderful walks from the front door. We really had a lovely stay and I would definitely stay at the house again. The only reason I have not given 5 stars is that we had to bring our own sheets and towels and pay for the gas and electricity while we were there. It's not a big issue at all but I would have preferred to be charged more overall and these to be included. Its just a bit of a faff but not a big problem. The house is very reasonably priced for the location and space on offer.

We were an extended family of 9 which included 3 small children. We had an amazing time: the house was terrific, the views stunning and the location/ local activities and amenities varied. We would recommend this place without reservation.
