  • A beautiful calm clean place to stay and enjoy a relaxing break

We were amazed at how lovely the place was, the welcome pack was very thoughtful and absolutely everything had been thought of. Looking out of every window in the house and seeing lakes and wildlife was a special treat. We took an elderly man and a dog and found that there was so much to do in the surrounding area. The local pubs were very welcoming and also extremely dog friendly, Grumpy Ted was given a treat everywhere he went! Cirencester is a beautiful place full of interesting little shops and coffee places ,where you can watch the world go by. It also has a great art shop, which is very dangerous, we left with three pictures ! In all we had a relaxing stay and will be coming back again. The place has absolutely everything you could want, whatever the weather, a large assortment of games and films and games rooms on site. Thank you Brian for being such a brilliant host. • Fabulous house in a great location

This property really did live up to our expectations. Well equipped and tastefully decorated and furnished throughout. The master bedroom and en suite on the top floor being particularly lovely with the three windows at the top of the turret giving great views of the lake. The site itself is also of a very high standard with well maintained grounds and a feeling of spaciousness even with other properties nearby. All in all a great place to stay even in October!
