We stayed at this property the last week of June and had a fabulous stay, lovely bungalow, great location, quite and relaxing. Weather was wonderful I spent the time on the top part of the garden when we were not there......... sunbathing listening to the birds... just bliss. If you want a quite holiday this is the location, we discovered the blue lake, beach is within walking distance, and found a great pub by the estuary, short drive into Barmouth, and Talybont ....played music on the record player .... so relaxing I didn't want to come home, added bonus was the hot tub and prosecco in the fridge, great find ! book you will not be disappointed !

  • Cosy Barn with amazing view and wildlife from the back yard.

We stayed in the cosy converted barn which is compact but ideal for couples. The spacious open kitchen is equiped with a electric stove, oven, microwave, toaster and water coocker. There is no coffee machine. The living, located between the bedroom and the kitchen has a flat screen tv with satelite reciever and a DVD player. There is no CD player which we missed a little bit as we like to listen to some music in the evening rather than viewing a tv program. The bathroom has a comfortable shower (watch out can be very hot after you paused the flow for a time) and a very small sink with a mirror. The sink is so tiny that it is impossible to use it without spilling some water to the floor. But all is working correctly. The small bedroom had a good size double bed, but the foam matress was a bit too soft for us. Apart from a view small spiderwebs all spaces were very clean and well maintained. We were lucky to have extremely beautyfull weather so we enjoyed our breakfast on the small terrace attached to the barn from where you have an amazing view over the bay. We also enjoyed looking at the squirls in the garden. There is no WIFI which may make it difficult to make plans for the next day.
