Highly recommended

We really enjoyed our stay here - Appledore is a quiet, friendly fishing village with lots to offer, as well as being close to towns such as Westward Ho! and Ilfracombe which are well worth exploring. A visit to The Big Sheep is a must for guests with young children. The cottage itself is extremely well situated - tucked away in one of Appledore's quiet lanes, and a stone's throw from all of the village's amenities. The cottage is quaint, quirky and clean, and has been stocked with everything you need for a comfortable stay.

We had such a lovely stay in Margaret Cottage. We were met by the lovely Nickie who gave us great tips on where to go and places to eat. The house itself is beautiful. The location is amazing. We all loved sitting in the front bedroom just looking at the view. The weather was pretty changeable during our stay but that didn't matter one bit. The house had plenty of books and games to keep the children occupied or they went over to harbour in the rain to go crabbing. We can't wait to go again.
