Lovely cottage for a relaxing break

5 of 5
The cottage is lovely, handy location and we had a great weekend there, visiting Penrith, Keswick and a boat trip on Derwentwater as well as lots of other stuff. A well equipped and comfortable place to relax in. A large chocolate cake baked for our arrival too!!! Although we did have difficulty playing the 'baby boomers' edition of Trivial Pursuit- 3 of us were babies in that era, so very challenging.

The cottage is really well equipped, extremely clean and with great views across the valley to Appleby Castle. Carol was really welcoming. We had a great time and will definitely return again.
