  • Great location and a good place to stay

The flat is very comfortable and highly recommended. The living room is dominated by the biggest TV I've ever seen - but I could only get 2 or 3 channels to work with the FreeSat system - they all froze or were unavailable. The Wifi was faster and more reliable than I have at home. The bedroom is a decent enough size that it could take a larger bed than what's there. The kitchen - I think a trip to IKEA to buy some new crockery and cutlery would be good. What's there is a bit of a mismatch. I used the washing machine twice and found it excellent - although a clothes horse would be good to have available. Parking was easy - I used the Ringo app to pay the £4 daily charge for the seafront. But I imagine it's tricky during the holiday season.

Waking every day to the varying moods of the ocean was a delightful entertainment whilst eating our breakfast! The amenities of the apartment are comfortable and all our necessities were met. The local shopping centre is a five minute drive away and we were very impressed with the variety of fresh fish on offer at a local quirky fish shop down near the beach front further towards Eastbourne. We also made the most of our time exploring other areas of East Sussex including Brighton, Hastings, Rye, Battle, and spent a memorable afternoon at Bateman’s the home of Rudyard Kipling. I highly recommended this property to anyone looking for a ‘home-away-from-home holiday.
