FABULOUS

5 of 5
We stayed at this property the last week of June and had a fabulous stay, lovely bungalow, great location, quite and relaxing. Weather was wonderful I spent the time on the top part of the garden when we were not there......... sunbathing listening to the birds... just bliss. If you want a quite holiday this is the location, we discovered the blue lake, beach is within walking distance, and found a great pub by the estuary, short drive into Barmouth, and Talybont ....played music on the record player .... so relaxing I didn't want to come home, added bonus was the hot tub and prosecco in the fridge, great find ! book you will not be disappointed !

A wonderful cottage with its own steam railway halt!

5 of 5
The first thing you notice about Tynllwyn Hen is its stunning location, nestled on a hillside with views to the mountains in one direction and the sea in the other. The garden is the ideal place to take it all in; it is well kept and well equipped with garden furniture, a barbeque and even a hammock. The cottage itself is also very comfortable and well equipped, having been recently refurbished by the owners, Katy and Aled. However, one of the key benefits of the cottage is its own halt on the nearby Talyllyn Railway. Great for days out, or indeed traveling to and from the cottage! A wonderful place to stay.
