  • Lovely property would highly recommend

Stayed at No. 5, hubby, me, grandson and our two dogs. The property is really lovely, very comfortable and very well equipped. The enclosed garden is ideal and lovely to see the birds hopping about on the little apple tree outside the bedroom window. Even spotted the odd bat or two in the evenings. It is just a few minutes walk from the beach, which although has a pebble bank it is well worth the climb over onto the gorgeous sand. The pub nearby is useful being dog friendly. There are a couple of stores nearby very well stocked. the one does gorgeous baguettes and sandwiches. We took a walk to Blue Lake which isn't the easiest to find, but well worth the climb. It was like something off the Hobbit films magical but also a tad eerie, I thought. We didn't get chance to use the little train that pass by regularly we were always on the beach when we could. We actually drove into Barmouth which does take longer by road. All in all a really lovely time was had by all (in-spite of us having dodgy weather) bad timing after the heatwave we have all had !! although was better for the dogs. Thank you to Simone and Paul for letting us stay (can I say very helpful owners, always on hand). We are hoping to return xx

  • Great location, lovely little apartment

Wonderful location. Right by the beach, and an easy journey to the southern part of Snowdonia. The sea, with dolphins, out of one window; the hills, with Cader Idris, out of the other. Lovely little apartment, well equipped. Host very helpful, her advice made the stay even more enjoyable. (Perhaps the best information pack we've ever seen, and fantastic to receive it before arrival.) Tywyn is a lovely little town, excellent chippy, great little cinema. We hope to return, and would recommend this apartment to anyone wanting to visit this area.
