Panoramic view and super apartment

5 of 5
We have visited Kalkan several times but have to say that the Elif Apartment was so beautiful and amazing ! The apartment was exactly like the photos showed so we were very pleased to arrive to such a lovely clean modern and spacious place that exceeded our expectations. The owner was very helpful before our trip. There’s lots of things to do (we read this in the informative pack that the owner left) but we spent most of our time lazing around the pool and never tired of the view. We ate out every night and every night seemed better than the first (even though the first was first class!). The Old Town of Kalkan was so pretty and we enjoyed our evenings meandering in and out of the shops and chatting to the friendly locals. We didn’t hire a car so used the services of a taxi driver) - it cost approx. £3 from the taxi rank to the apartment. Many restaurants and cafes to tempt you - or just have a Turkish coffee and watch the world go by!. All in all this holiday was unforgettable for all the right reasons, the apartment was fantastic, the people very friendly and owner very helpful. We would definitely recommend the apartment very highly. We were so sad to have to leave and will return next year.

Amazing Family Villa and Pool

5 of 5
As one who doesn’t normally write reviews, even though I know I should, I am now writing a review of our fantastic stay in Villa Zinnia, Kalkan, Turkey in August this Year. What can I say of the whole thing other than it was a fantastic, stress free experience from the start to the end. Booking the Villa through the owner Anna was a breeze, she was very helpful even though we needed longer than normal and slightly awkward dates. Everything was spelled out to us and several helpful documents were sent to us giving us details of both the Villa and the surrounding area, including surrounding restaurants, things to do. Travel was arranged be Anna for the transfer from Dalaman Airport to the Villa and this was fantastic, in an air conditioned luxury minibus, which also included bottled water. Arriving at the Villa late at night didn’t give us the appreciation of what a great place it was as we were tired and just need to rest/sleep. Upon arrival though we became aware of a great welcome package left for us so that we would not need any essentials which was a very thoughtful gesture. The next morning though we became aware of what a great Villa we were staying at – the views, the rooms and the pool were amazing. The Villa itself was amazing, a great fully equipped modern kitchen/dining room, a comfortable lounge area and three well equipped bathrooms (one on-suite). The three bedrooms were of a good size, two with large beds and one with two single beds and can I say that the beds were fantastic. The Villa had air-conditioning throughout which was a must for Turkey in August. Now I’m a big believer that things can go wrong but it’s the things in place to sort them out that is the most important thing. Well it did as one of the air-con units broke but we contacted the emergency number that was part of the welcome pack and the chaps attended that morning and fixed it straight away. We had an amazing time in the day relaxing by the great pool and using the Ottoman in the rear garden. At night we walked out to several restaurants close by and had some fabulous food and drink. All of them were great but we liked the Brothers, Aqua, Porcini and Yelken that were within walking distance. We also loved Corriander Restaurant in Kalkan were we had several breakfasts and evening meals. There is a great little store across the road run by the family that owns Porcini – Deniz & Family which sells everything that you will realistically need and if they don’t they

Gorgeous villa with stunning views

5 of 5
Everything was exactly as stated in the listing. The owners have clearly thought about the needs of their visitors. The owner also arranged a welcome pack which was much appreciated as we arrived late at night. The kitchen is well equipped with crockery, pans, utensils and glasses it also has a great big fridge which was very useful. The property is beautiful, clean and well maintained, the pool guy also turned up daily. The views from the balconies are stunning and there's plenty of room to laze around on each level. The large outdoor table is a great place to have a meal and take in the views. There's also an inside dining table should you need it. The bedrooms are spacious and airy, they had air con but we didn't need to use it. There is seating around the plunge pool which is just the perfect chill out area. The wifi even worked well. There is a really good restaurant literally around the corner from the villa and plenty more in the nearby town. There's a hotel at the bottom of the road with plenty of sun loungers and access to the sea. As long as you buy a drink they are happy for you to use their facilities. The food is good there too. We went on a boat trip from the harbour on the Sea Bella Junior. It's a family run business with the mother providing all the food which was amazing and really good value. I will definitely be looking to return to this area again and would 100% look to book this villa.
