Property was extremely well equipped, especially kitchen. It was beautifully decorated, very homely. Bedrooms were very spacious with a lovely terrace off the main bedroom. Gorgeous well furnished roof terrace, ideal if it gets to hot as there is usually a nice breeze up there. Numerous outdoor spaces to sit/eat or sunbathe. The pool area was lovely. The site was extremely peaceful and very well kept with lots of beautiful plants, flowers and fruit trees. There was a man who seemed to be there full time maintaining the grounds also a security man most evenings. Facilities very close by, supermarket/bakers and takeaways supplying everything you could need. Yalikavak is more authentic than some other Turkish resorts I have visited which I really liked but other resorts are very easily accessed if you fancy a change of scenery. Overall a very relaxing holiday in a villa obviously loved by its owners.

We are now sadly back home after a lovely stay at this beautiful apartment on the Regnum Bargylia complex. The apartment itself was very well equipped for us (as a family of 5) and the owner went out of her way to ensure that we had all the necessary details about both the apartment, the complex and the local area. Guidance on where to go for supermarkets and local restaurants was so very helpful. The views from the balcony are stunning and the sunsets just unforgettable! There is a lovely shared pool at the complex, which we all enjoyed. And the small beautiful beach is just in front of there, with a pontoon to swim out to (which my children particularly loved). Another great feature was the luxury of breakfasting at the Cook Taze patisserie at Club Bargylia! This is highly recommended for Turkish breakfast and afternoon pastries. It also comes with amazing views! In terms of exploring the area - we hired a car in the end – as it gave us more flexibility and meant that we could travel to Gulluk, and Bodrem and "eat out" easily too (which was relatively inexpensive, given the FX rate at this time). We travelled to Bitez Beach and managed a boat trip from the Bodrum Marina too. The children also did some dinghy sailing at a water sports centre near there, which was fantastic. Lots of happy memories. We would certainly recommend!
