Experience real Turkish holiday in comfortable, well appointed and cozy environment.

Steve and Elaine have created a wonderful stting for a family or small group of friends to experience small town life in an historic property that has been lovingly restored and modernised. The villa is cozy yet spacious with a large garden and pool. It is near the beach, historic Side and Manavgat waterfall. Your hosts will ensure you will be comfortable and can guide you to local amenities including shops, retaurants and tourism. Highy recommended! Rob from London

Idllyic off the beaten track...

Sorry if this repeats much of what has been said before but if like me you do your homework on villa holidays you will know that you cannot hear the important stuff too often...and the more recent the better. If you haven't tried this type of holiday before I can imagine it could seem scary, there isn't someone to collect you and chauffeur you around and you don't have that holiday rep looking after your every move, but do not fret. The directions provided by Martin & Jennie really are perfect, they even provide pictures of the junctions and turns you make from the airport to the villa turning it into a very straight-forward journey (about 40 minutes from Antalya). Hire care is extremely good value and is an absolute must-have for this property. When you arrive at the villa you really won't believe just how good you've done, your research will have paid off and you will realise you've got a bargain (I really hope that doesn't encourage the owners to put the price up for future visits I intend to make!) Local shops do stock the essentials and a very short drive will get you to either Belek or Sirik where you will find the larger markets and supermarkets, to be honest the best thing is getting the fruit and veg from the locals though. The villa has everything you could need and the pool area will make you want to spend your days and evenings there rather than actually venturing far but if you have come to sight-see then the welcome pack explains all the must-sees in the area. My top tip is to learn or at least attempt 2 or 3 Turkish words, it really will get you a long way if you try to say hello, please and thank you. Terrific holiday and can't wait to return.

Lovely, easy, comfortable holiday!

We found Villa Loras perfect for what we wanted. There were 6 adults in total and we stayed for 10 days. The villa itself was really comfortable with really good air conditioning which kept the rooms at a nice temperature. It easily housed 6 adults without us being in each others space and the communal areas accommodated us all perfectly. You definitely need a car here as the shop on the complex is small and during our stay the bar was not serving food in the evenings but the roads are really easy to drive on as its just one main road. You can hire cars with the people at the complex too. There is lots to do and see near by and loads of information in the villa with leaflets, brochures and the visitors book. We chatted to some of the neighbors too who were really helpful and very friendly. The main guy at the complex was also really helpful and spoke good english but we had to use the little Turkish we knew with the bar and shop staff. I suppose the only suggestion I would make is that there be a barbeque there but otherwise a lovely place that we hope to visit again in the future.
