International flights arrive into Berne (BRN), Geneva (GVA) and Zurich (ZRH), and although it is not far to drive from these airports to get to a chalet in Valais, Sion Airport (SIR) is much closer, and there are regular transfers from the international airports.

Fab place, accommodation and contents, will definitely stay in appt again

Better than we imagined, apartment (clean and well maintained) had all we needed for a perfect time in the Swiss Alps (2 adults and 2 Labrador dogs). Fab quality furniture, hard flooring throughout and bathroom which I wanted to take home! Spacious underground parking space, keeping car cool in Summer. Lift to first floor appt very close. Large fridge (no access to freezer - 1 drawer for ice would be perfect as JD and coke isn’t the same without it!) and plenty of utensils/crockery to cook with (no need to eat out). Lovely view of valley and surrounding hills/mountains via bedrooms’ windows and large terrace off living room. Plenty of hanging space for clothes. Very helpful receptionist who offered us cheaper (than train who charge half price for dogs) group taxi service into Zermatt (not able to drive into there in our own car apparently, although we did see many cars entering!). Fantastic walks all around - Taschalp, Gornergrat railway/mountain (beers at Riffelhaus highly recommended as fantastic view of the Matterhorn and paragliders taking off/gliding), and longest suspension bridge above Randa, are among our favourites, all easily accessible via car, bike or foot. Would stay again now if I had enough holiday!!!

Lovely property with the best views in Nendaz

I took my family to this property and we really enjoyed staying here. We are fairly certain you won't get a better view anywhere in this valley. The sun also tracked the chalet from east to west so it was lovely to be able to enjoy the Balcony area too. The rooms are very clean and the chalet is well equipped. Access is hard for anybody who has walking difficulties or medical conditions because you do need to hike up a very steep path to get to the door. The only really negative comment is not to do with the property but more the description. This needs to clearly itemise all of the extras (electricity, bedding, towels, tax, extra credit card fees, logs). The lead in price is competitive but all the extras add up to a considerable amount so whilst we would return to this property we would not use the same booking platform. This is why we gave 4 and not 5 stars. Overall, a very enjoyable trip and we found the owner Wouter to be very responsive. Highly recommended,
