This is a lovely apartment - clean, well maintained, well equipped, comfortable and spacious. There are two balconies with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. It has a good location being near to a cable car, mountain train, small supermarket and cycle shop. We went in the summer and enjoyed walking and cycling. We had to pay a tourist tax but with that we got a free access card to the local cable cars, train, the hire of scooters, swimming in the nearby town of Villars and many other activities. We didn't have a car but were still able to get around and found plenty to do. We travelled from Geneva airport by train and mountain train.
We spent some time relaxing at the apartment and enjoying the ever-changing views. Highly recommended !
For the second year in a row we spent our summer holidays in Chalet 58. Again, we had a great time. The chalet is spacious and well-equipped. Its location a little bit above the center of La Tzoumaz makes it a quiet place. Still, restaurants, a supermarket and the station of the cable car are within walking distance (approximately 100 m difference in height). Directly from the property, several walks/hikes can be done.
The chalet disposes of several good parking spaces, including a garage. However, a minor point of improvement may be that the descent from/ascent to the main road can be hard without a 4x4 vehicle, as it consists of loose sand and rocks. Alternatively, one can use parking spaces alongside the main road at about 100 m from the chalet.
Altogether, we had a great time in La Tzoumaz and surely hope to come back next year.
