Great property in a very quiet neighbourhood

                    4 of 5
A high quality apartment over two levels. The spec was as good as I've seen anywhere when self catering in the alps. Large bedrooms, comfortable (firm) beds, two bathrooms, each with showers with those big waterfall heads, wood stove, kitchen had everything we needed. It gets 4 rather than 5 stars due to the location - Le Châble is very quiet indeed. Shops and supermarkets close early and don't open at all on Sundays (bit annoying if you arrive late Saturday or on Sunday). Pretty easy to get up to Verbier on the cable car (which runs till 7.30). Buses are c 1 an hour after that. Don't forget to tell the owner if you'd like the place set up with double or twin beds - he's happy to do either.
