Lovely!

4 of 5
This is a snowy gem. Set high up in the valley the views from the chalet are just beautiful. Starting with the most important bit - this little haven is genuinely ski in ski out. A blue run literally passes the front door a stones throw away. There is also a red run no more than 100 m from the house so you can step out of your skis and wander back. The runs take you down to the main ski lift at la tzoumaz which allows you access to the whole verbier show area. A fab spot. If you don't fancy skiing down and you are on foot there is a regular ski bus that will take you down to the savolyeres lift and restaurants too. There is a bar for apres ski or for just soaking up the sun just off the red run - again , no more than 100 m from the chalet. Turning to the chalet itself - it is basically set on three levels. On the ground floor there are two generous size bedrooms, one with ensuite bath and shower and one with the bathroom ( shower) just opposite it. Lovely hot water and powerful showers. Both bedrooms have with French windows and amazing views. There is also a sauna to soothe aching bones after a day on the slopes! The middle level has a small kitchen with living and dining area. It's well equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine and microwave. Again, this room has beautiful views. There is also a toilet in this level. The top level has a small twin bedroom and another adjoining room with a sofa bed. Perfect floor for kids. Cots are also provided if you are travelling with babies. The chalet is simply but very comfortably furnished. It's perfect for two families to share. Childcare in the village crèche is available as is a babysitting service. The tourist office down by the main lifts are the ones to speak to about sorting this. The town is very pretty - it's more chilled than full on apres ski clubs. But if you want a few drinks after a day skiing it has plenty to offer - and restaurants too. It's a drive to restaurants and I'd say your own car would be useful if staying here but there is a good regular bus service as mentioned. But often we would just have a few apres drinks and then eat at home as the kids were in bed. Overall it's fab. The owners are genuinely lovely and can't do enough for you. We will be going again.

Cosy chalet with a beautiful mountainpeakview

5 of 5
Our stay in the Chalet was wonderful! It's cosy and feels like home with a warmhearted interieur. Nothing is missing in the kitchen, there is everything you need, even to make a Fondue. The sleeping rooms are underneath the roof and the woodwalls make it very cosy. There are three brandnew bathrooms (reall comfortable, if more than one person would like to take a shower at a time) and in the ground floor, there is a Sauna, great after sports! We're loving it!
